AirWatch aims to increase students’ knowledge and understandings of air pollution and atmospheric issues at both local and global levels, and also to generate behaviour change that will reduce the negative impact of school communities on air quality. The program provides a range of innovative resources, including: incursions; air quality monitoring equipment; professional learning for teachers; a CD-ROM full of activities; and an action learning project that will help your school become more sustainable.

WeatherWatch
This project, delivered in partnership with Channel Seven Perth, sees students right across WA monitoring the weather and sending in data for Jeff Newman’s nightly weather report. Each year 50 committed schools participate in WeatherWatch, which provides a catalyst for embedding weather studies in the curriculum and investigating the relationships between weather, air pollution and climate.
