Energy Smart for Air
The newest AirWatch project, Energy Smart for Air, is a unit of study illustrating links between energy use (both stationary and transport energy), the enhanced greenhouse effect and climate change, and culminating in an action-learning approach to reducing your school’s greenhouse gas emissions. The project is designed to be flexible and offers a combination of written resources, AirWatch incursions and teacher support material. Places are available for 3 secondary schools and 2 primary schools that are committed to engaging as many students as possible in reducing energy consumption. The project will be launched in Semester Two, 2009.
